TCD ADD ON KIT (230V)

Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) with Add-On Kit for PerkinElmerClarus 500 GC, 230V. Kit includes all necessary items to install the TCD into theinstrument: detector, heater, sensor, heater block, 1/6 in. gasline, and flow controller pneumatics. How it Works: Balanced carrier flow is maintained through the analytical andreference channels. The filaments are electrically heated andassume a temperature dependent upon the thermal conductivity of thegas passing over them. When column effluent of a different thermalconductivity passes through the analytical or reference channel,the bridge circuit becomes unbalanced and gives rise to a signalthat yields the chromatographic output.
