For mildly-corrosive and high-purity gas applications. Purge valve sits between the lecture-bottle and regulator to purge system with inert gas to remove air, moisture, and process gas to maintain high-purity conditions and to minimize gas hydrolysis and corrosion damage to equipment. A check valve at purge inlet prevents backflow of gas.
