The PAS (periodic acid schiff) reaction is one of the most frequently used chemical methods for the detection of aldehyde and mucosubstances in microscopy. Schiff's reagent intense is a ready-to-use, high capacity staining solution (up to 3000 slides/500mL). It can be stored at room temperature which allows for 10 minutes of time-saving per staining procedure. This new formulation provides for more intense staining results with clearer differentiation between cell types.
